Website privacy policy

Privacy Policy

How the AI Beyond website (00011000.com) handles visit data: cookies, local storage, Google Analytics, server logs, third-party services, and retention.

Scope

This policy covers the AI Beyond website: every page under 00011000.com and its English section at 00011000.com/en.

The AIPaw browser extension is a separate product. It handles a different set of data (API keys, conversations, page screenshots) and has its own policy:

What we collect

The site has no accounts and no sign-up, and we do not collect names, phone numbers, or postal addresses. What is actually generated is limited to the following:

  • Server access logs: the web server records the time, IP address, host and path requested, HTTP status, bytes sent, request duration, referring page, and browser user agent.
  • Site analytics: Google Analytics 4 collects aggregate information such as page views, time on page and reading depth, clicks, traffic sources, approximate region, and device type.
  • Interaction counts: views and likes on articles, news, wiki entries, prompts, tools, and comparisons are added up per item. The server stores only a total, never who clicked it.
  • Email: if you write to us, we see your address and the contents of your message.

Cookies and local storage

  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets first-party cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_<container ID>” to distinguish anonymous sessions. The site uses no login or session cookies.
  • Browser local storage: keeps your language choice (“aiweb:locale”), light or dark theme, recently viewed prompts, and the IDs of items you have liked. It stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
  • You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time, or block the analytics script with an extension. Preferences return to their defaults; reading the site is unaffected.
  • The analytics script loads only on the production domain. Preview environments, pages marked “noindex”, and browsers with JavaScript disabled are not measured.

How the data is used

We do not build personal profiles from this data, make automated decisions about you, or sell or trade any of it.

  • Keeping the site available and secure: spotting abnormal traffic, scanners, and abusive requests, and rate-limiting them by IP.
  • Understanding which pages are genuinely useful, so we know what to update and what to write next.
  • Diagnosing errors, performance problems, and broken links.
  • Producing the site's popularity and ranking displays from view and like counts.

Third-party services

The site currently shows no third-party advertising and loads no ad-network scripts. If advertising is introduced later, this page will be updated in the same change to describe the cookies involved and how to opt out.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): website traffic measurement. The associated data is sent to Google and governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Hosting and logs: pages and APIs are served by Nginx on our own server, and access logs stay on that same server rather than going to a third-party analytics platform.
  • Outbound links: links to AI tools, models, and vendor sites take you to third-party websites that this policy does not cover; their own privacy policies apply.

Retention

  • Server access logs: rotated and overwritten according to the Nginx log rotation policy on the server, and used only for security and fault investigation.
  • Google Analytics: retained for the period configured in Google Analytics data retention settings, after which Google deletes it.
  • Views and likes: kept as long-running aggregate numbers that contain no personal data.
  • Local storage: held in your own browser with no expiry, and cleared whenever you choose.

Your choices

  • Opt out of analytics: install Google's opt-out add-on, use a blocking extension, or clear cookies.
  • Clear local preferences: clear this site's data in your browser.
  • Access and deletion: the only records that can be linked to you are the IP address and timestamp in server logs. Email us with the approximate time of your visit to request a lookup or deletion.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience, is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Anything collected inadvertently is deleted once verified.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page is updated. Material changes to how data is used or which third parties are involved are called out on the page itself.
