SeaArt is an AI art platform built on "a free allowance plus a full feature set." It takes capabilities from the Stable Diffusion ecosystem that used to require your own setup — huge model libraries, LoRA, ControlNet, workflows — and moves them into a cloud web app, so people without technical skills can still generate images with real control.

What SeaArt Is

SeaArt is a cloud platform for AI image and video generation:

  • Community model library: a large collection of community checkpoints and LoRA models covering photorealism, anime, illustration, design and more, ready to use.
  • Fine control: ControlNet (steering composition with line art, poses or depth maps), inpainting, outpainting, upscaling and other advanced operations.
  • AI video: image-to-video and other motion generation alongside images.
  • Community and workflows: users share models, works and generation settings, and you can reuse someone else's workflow in one click.

Changes in 2026

SeaArt is no longer just a community model site. It has moved toward aggregation, bringing third-party models such as Veo, Kling, Pixverse, Vidu, Seedream, Flux and Nano Banana into one selection menu, adding video generation alongside images while keeping LoRA training and ComfyUI workflows; it has also added AI character chat. The community model library now numbers in the hundreds of thousands. It is operated by Singapore-based SUNRISEAI, which closed a Series B of more than 100 million yuan in 2026 and re-entered the Chinese market.

About Sora: SeaArt still has many Sora 2 model pages and apps, but OpenAI shut down the Sora API on September 24, 2026; requests to every Sora 2 model now return a 410 error, and OpenAI has named no replacement. As of our check, we found no SeaArt announcement removing or replacing those entries, so its Sora options very likely no longer work. If you made Sora videos on SeaArt and want to keep them, download them soon.

Two more things to know before you start: every action (images, videos, character chat) draws on the same energy/credit balance, with video and premium models costing noticeably more; and there are many complaints about subscriptions auto-renewing after a trial, so confirm the renewal terms before signing up.

Getting Started: A Composition-Controlled Image With ControlNet

  1. Pick a model in the right style: filter the model library by style and check whether sample images look like what you want.
  2. Write your prompt and upload a reference image (a sketch, pose photo or line art), choosing the matching ControlNet type — OpenPose for poses, Lineart for line drawings.
  3. Generate a few small images to check composition, lock the seed once you like one, then upscale to the final size.
  4. When you find a community work you like, view the model and settings it used, reuse them and fine-tune.
